Privacy Policy

Apka Jyotish respects the personal information you share when you use our website, order a personalized report, use a free tool or book an online consultation.
Information we collect
Depending on the service you use, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, birth date, birth time, birthplace, questions or concerns, and floor plans or other files you choose to upload. For marriage matching, the information may relate to two people and you should only submit the other person's information if you have permission to do so.
How we use it
We use the information only for operating the service you requested, preparing your personalized astrology or Vastu report, providing an online consultation, processing and confirming the order, communicating about delivery, preventing abuse, and maintaining basic business records.
Free-tool accounts and your choices
Registration requires an email address, phone number with country code and password. We use these to operate and secure your account, enable access to free tools and prevent abuse. We store a salted password hash, never your plain-text password. An essential secure cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Contacts are marked unverified until ownership is verified; email and phone verification are currently unavailable.
We request your express agreement to account-related processing separately from marketing choices. Promotional WhatsApp, email and SMS each have a separate optional checkbox, unchecked by default. Free-tool access does not depend on accepting marketing. We record each choice, including a declined choice, with the server timestamp, privacy policy version, wording version and text shown, and keep a history of preference changes.
Registration alone does not permit promotional contact. Promotional delivery must have an active opt-in for that channel and verified ownership of the relevant contact. We do not currently send promotions through this registration system. A future delivery provider must recheck current permission before each send and provide a channel-appropriate opt-out.
Visit Account & privacy to review or change choices, or select “Unsubscribe from all promotions”. Withdrawal applies immediately in our account records and does not affect free-tool access. You can also contact jyotishgyaanvaani@gmail.com for help withdrawing, accessing, correcting or deleting your data, or raising a privacy grievance. We will verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal records. You may raise concerns with the competent data protection authority where applicable.
Customer account settings, bookings and reports
You may save a display name and manage your account contact details, password and signed-in sessions. Changing a contact requires your current password, resets contact verification and turns off marketing for the changed contact. Consent history records the contact to which a choice applied.
New appointments and report orders made while signed in are linked to your account ID so you can view their status and access delivered reports. We do not link older guest orders based only on an unverified email or phone. Support must check ownership first. Business administrators can review customer registrations and consent records in a protected directory and export those records for account administration. An administrative export is not marketing permission.
In Account → Privacy & consent you can download your profile, complete consent history and booking references, or delete your account after confirming your password. Account deletion removes your login, profile, preferences, consent history and account links. It does not cancel paid services, delete a delivered file already downloaded, or remove separate service and transaction records that we must retain for fulfilment, disputes or applicable law. Contact support regarding those records.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card, UPI credential or bank-account payment credentials on the Apka Jyotish website.
Where data is stored
Website order data and uploaded files are stored using Cloudflare services, including Cloudflare KV and Cloudflare R2. Free-tool account, session and consent records are stored in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare may process data outside India. We use these providers only to operate the service, not to sell or independently market your contact details. We may also use service providers necessary to operate the website, payment flow and transactional email.
Sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to prepare and deliver the requested service, maintain order records, resolve support issues and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations. You can contact us at jyotishgyaanvaani@gmail.com to ask about access, correction or deletion of information, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
Free-tool account details are retained while the account is active or until a verified deletion request is fulfilled, subject to legally required records. Session cookies expire after seven days; expired server sessions and temporary abuse-prevention records may be purged as maintenance. Consent history is kept with the account to evidence your choices. You can withdraw account-processing consent by deleting your account in Account → Privacy & consent, or contacting support; this ends access that requires an account.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Free-tool registration is for adults aged 18 or older. Do not register a child’s contact details. If you believe a child has registered, contact us so we can investigate and remove the account. Our paid services are intended for people legally able to enter into a transaction.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The latest version published on this page applies from its stated publication date.
